Home to two impressive dance floors and a 280-square-meter garden, the music mecca found home amongst South Beach’s trendiest neighborhoods.

Treehouse Miami adds a dash of quirkiness to Miami’s nightlife

Born as a fresh, new concept to the mainstream glitzy clubs in South Beach (known locally as SoBe), Miami’s Treehouse nightclub first opened its doors at the start of 2011. Despite its rookie status, the music hub is far from acting, sounding, and looking like a newcomer.

As the brainchild of Miami-native real estate agent Jeremy Waks and interior designer Dave Glass, Treehouse was launched to change SoBe’s nightlife scene.

Back in 2015, the quirky music temple changed its parents, as Aqus LLC’s – a talent agency in West Hollywood – president Michael Freundlich purchased the nightclub for $3.25 million.

Although it kept a low profile through the decades, Treehouse is one of Miami’s iconic venues. Passing the test of time with flying colors, the electronic club stands tall as a sought-after, music-fueled tropical jungle.

This electronic hub thrives in Miami Beach

The southernmost portion of Miami Beach, also dubbed South Beach, is renowned for its global cachet with models and celebrities.

Madonna, Sylvester Stallone, Cher, Oprah Winfrey, and Gianni Versace are just a handful of the A-list sightseeings who frequented Miami Beach’s eclectic blend of ritzy bars, exclusive lounges, and VIP clubs.

But that’s not to say SoBe doesn’t have cultural appeal. Famed for its early 20th-century architecture in the Art Deco neighborhood, SoBe’s selling point stands in the Ocean Drive area.

Here, your eyes will be instantly glued by hotels, clubs, and pedestrian promenades splashed with geometric lines and bold colors. As Miami’s artistic legacy, art deco visuals are everywhere you lay your eyes – from eye-catching facades to vibrant structures.

While some developers focused on demolition in the 1980s and 1990s, several businessmen, including Tony Goldman and Ian Schrager, purchased hotels and turned them into sought-after hotspots.

Ben Novack’s iconic five-star Fontainbleau Hotel – a luxury hotel built in 1954 – is housed in the SoBe area.

As one of Miami’s emblematic symbols, the 1,500-room hotel features everything from award-winning chefs to chic nightlife venues.

Miami’s Treehouse is more like a jungle oasis than an average techno club

Judging from the outside, you wouldn’t ever guess that Treehouse’s entrance shelters a tropical jungle. As soon as you pass through its doors, a whole discophile world unfolds before your eyes.

Lush hanging foliage covers the entire ceiling of the dance floor to create a jungle oasis. Wood walls surrounding the dance floors of Treehouse are a leitmotif of the sprawling indoor and outdoor complex.

The 740-square-meter music-fueled ecosystem with a 440 capacity traverses two rooms and a large outdoor area with synthetic green grass.

Both versatile and dreamy, those spaces are far from being the industrial and subversive vibes we got from techno temples.

Scattered with jungle decor elements, such as foliage and quirky lamps, Treehouse is imbued with a tropical vacation appeal while staying loyal to its underground roots.

Treehouse is a Miami electronic devotee

The jungle mecca shelters anything and everything that falls under the electronic umbrella. Treehouse is a pro at bridging the gap between traditional underground and new-generation beats.

Expect nothing but the best of both worlds when you set foot inside the jungle-turned-nightclub venue.

Both international and homegrown acts take over Treehouse’s DJ booth with a diverse music portfolio, ensuring that everybody experiences their beloved soundtrack somewhere along the night.

International talent such as Italian DJ Giuseppe Ottaviani, electronic powerhouse Oscar L, and techno legend Adam Beyer are some of the DJs that took ravers on a groovy journey.

Unpretentious is the vibe that Treehouse club is going for

As a victim of its own reputation, Miami’s Treehouse is usually a full house. While tickets are far from cheap, locals and tourists queue for hours to get the affirmative nod from the bouncer.

We are in Miami, so bottles of bubbly and jaw-dropping table menu services are a nightlife pillar – even for a sweaty, electronic temple.

Miami’s Treehouse features traditional VIP treatment with bottles of champagne and intimate four-person booths, which will take between $400 to $600 out of the clubbers’ pockets.

Unlike other Miami clubs, Treehouse’s door policy is easy to crack.

Treehouse doesn’t care about how many designer labels you wear during a raving session, but about how comfy you feel while immersing in the thumping bass.

Treehouse Miami went up for sale – and it isn’t a cash-only transaction

Yup, you read that right. Miami Treehouse is open to crypto-based auctions and deals, which might make it the first real estate transaction to be completed in Bitcoin.

In an interview, listing agent Fay claimed that Freundlich is flexible regarding the buyout process and is willing to split the sale between crypto and cash.

While owners of other cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin – including Ethereum and Litecoin – are welcome to submit an offer, Bitcoin submissions will benefit from a first-choice benefit.
