A long-standing pillar in Sydney’s LGBT+ nightlife, ARQ is one of the city’s most beloved venues.
Since its 1999 inception, the queer hub has been nestled in the inner-city eastern suburb of Darlinghurst. Funky and permanently buzzing, the rainbow-striped district is famous for its LGBT+ scene, international restaurants and edgy shops selling vintage apparel.

Recently refurbished and ready to roar, the Sydney club is equipped with an unmatchable audio-visual system. Spanning multiple spaces – including a cocktail lounge and arcade-style rooms – ARQ knows how to keep its patrons entertained.
While the nightlife venue keeps things simple when it comes to decor, it packs a punch with a performance stage.
