When it opened in 2018, the music temple found its home in the city’s north, near the Queen’s Wharf. Besides brimming with international restaurants and cute bars, the area houses ferries that take globetrotters to New Zealand’s virgin islands.
As soon as you step inside the Auckland club, your eyes will instantly be glued to the “DANCE OR DIE” sign. Located right beside the intimate DJ booth, the neon-lit mantra acts as AV Club’s motto. The interior vibe mimics the living room party aesthetic, with minimal decor and dimly lit walls.
