Touted as the largest and oldest gay club in New Orleans, Bourbon Pub & Parade established itself as one of the front-runners of inclusive clubs in the city. Every year, the New Orleans Southern Decadence festival is hosted in the Bourbon Pub & Parade nightclub.
Bourbon Pub and Parade first opened in 1974, which makes this nightlife venue one of the oldest nightclubs in New Orleans. Sandy Sachs purchased this iconic nightclub from former owner and friend Bobby Revere.
Situated on the famous Bourbon Street in the French Quarter area of downtown New Orleans, this LGBTQI+ nightclub is well-connected with the heart of the city, making it the chosen spot for clubbers near and far.
Housed in a two-floor brick building with elaborate iron balconies and shuttered blue windows, the architecture is characteristic of the neighborhood.
With top-notch in-house DJs mixing irresistible numbers, the Bourbon pub is a go-to destination for dance music enthusiasts who enjoy grooving to the best electronic and pop beats. High-energy tunes create a vibrant atmosphere for the glamorous drag performers and go-go dancers on stage.
Bourbon Pub & Parade is the gathering spot for the glitzy and glam folk. Celebrities Kelly Ripa, Adam Lambert, and Brian Singer have all been seen partying there. Although an LGBTQI-friendly zone, Bourbon Pub and Parade prides itself in being an inclusive, safe space–so everyone is welcome, no matter their background.
If having fun is your only agenda, this iconic New Orleans nightclub is the place to leave your inhibitions behind. Prepare to feast your eyes on Bourbon Pub & Parade’s cacophony of drag artists, go-go dancers, musicians, and more!
