As one of the few Lagos nightlife venues that boom with multi-genre playlists, Club 57 has an all-inclusive music approach.
Launched in 2014, the party hub was formerly known as Bacchus Club. With a major revamp – both in looks and branding – the Lagos club established itself in the Ikoyi neighborhood, south of the city. Both affluent and upscale, the area is a hotspot for upmarket restaurants, chic watering holes and high-end shopping.
Club 57 is easy to find as it resides in a standalone black building whose gate is branded with the club’s logo.
Less is more seems to be the venue’s mantra. Spanning an intimate space with low ceilings, Club 57 features a simple black interior. Most of the space is used for dancing instead of sitting, but there’s a lounge area with white sofas and tables for the ones who want to catch a breather.
While afrobeats are the club’s favorite tunes, expect some pop hits and reggae nights to be thrown into the mix.
Often referred to as a local haunt, dance-loving residents from various backgrounds usually frequented the nightlife venue.
Party with the locals and discover a foot-tapping music playlist at Club 57, one of Lagos’ modern clubbing destinations.
