Le Secteur club in Bordeaux is bringing back ‘90s funk music.
Located southeast of Bordeaux, in the suburban Begles, Le Secteur was formerly known as BT59 when it served as a rave location.
Colorful and spacious, the venue switched its nightlife ethos and underwent a refurb back in 2021. Switching from the warehouse feel to a hippie decor, Le Secteur is soaked in graffiti art, abstract patterns and neon signs.
The off-beat club plays old-school hip-hop beats alongside sounds from the ‘90s and ‘00s. Le Secteur’s resident DJs spin soul, funk, and R&B hits to spice things up but keep the theme going.
Serving a unique niche, the club’s music repertoire attracts Millennials like moths to a flame. Most of the crowds are made of locals but don’t be surprised if tourists are added to the mix.
