Legendary LGBT+ clubbing destination Trade will return to London grounds in February – and its debaucherous 24-hour partying concept is tagging along.
Taking over the beat-fueled EGG London, Trade promoters will gear up for the archetypal ‘The All Night Bender’ with club residents and ultimate crowd-pleasers.
Titled ‘Trade Presents’, the 12-hour dancing marathon will kick off on Saturday, February 25th, starting from 8 PM. While there is no word about the line-up yet, Trade promised a roster of skillful residents and “very special guests.”
This is not the first time that Trade has taken over London’s EGG. Earlier this year, the revolutionary hotspot celebrated its 30th anniversary at the electronic temple with a weekend-long party where Fat Tony, Smokin’ Jo, and Rebekah spun the decks.
Also known as London’s original after-hours party spot, Trade was the first UK club to be blessed with a 24-hour license – which made the now-defunct Turnmills spot a pillar for the queer community.
Opening its doors in 1990 for a decade of free partying, Trade transformed dingy basements into music shelters and created a mold for how autonomous and raunchy gay nightclubs should be.
