The Leland hotel’s basement is home to a dark, industrial club that opened in 1983. The Renaissance-style hotel, dating back to 1927, is in Downtown Detroit, the city’s center.
What was once an exquisite old ballroom with a lavish history, including casino nights and banquets, is now an alternative gothic club featuring murals, black-painted walls, and a labyrinth-like maze of shenanigans.
Leland City Club spans a dimly-lit, accommodating dance floor with a raw interior creating underground vibes and a back room showcasing industrial vibes.
