Elusive yet inviting, OXI is the kind of club that needs no advertising to fill its dance floors.
Since its launch, the party hub has been perched east of Berlin’s center, in an area known as Friedrichshain. Popular among young professionals and devoted hipsters, the alternative neighborhood is renowned for its sprawling former industrial areas, open-air galleries, and quirky music venues.
Spotting the Berlin club is an easy feat, as OXI found its forever home inside a one-story brick building surrounded by graffiti-soaked iron fences.
The nightlife venue couldn’t pick between open-air dance floors or indoor dancing spaces, so it went ahead with both. OXI club spans several rooms and an outdoor terrace, ensuring it will be a coveted clubbing spot during both winter days and mid-summer months.
While the al fresco terrace keeps things simple, the main dance floor embodies a full-on industrial vibe. Despite its rather intimate size, OXI packs a punch with seedy warehouse aesthetics.
Low ceilings and concrete structures dominate the venue, while linear neon lights bring a pop of vitality.
We are in Berlin after all, so the club serves electronic music for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Local DJs take over the booth every weekend to bring the creme de la creme of commercial house and minimal, keeping revelers on their feet until early morning.
Since OXI is not as famous as Berghain and Watergate, low-key locals usually frequented the club.
Get ready to immerse yourself in the raw and vibrant energy of OXI club, where underground beats, industrial aesthetics, and a tight-knit community come together to create unforgettable nights.
