Inaugurated in 2010, Ronald Akili opened Potato Head in Bali following its success in Jakarta, which is now closed. It is in Seminyak, south Bali, an iconic tourist destination known for its high-end shopping, luxury resorts, and vibrant nightlife.
Potato Head’s exteriors are a colorful array of vintage window shutters in a colosseum-like design. Founder Akili is an avid art collector and has placed numerous pieces throughout the venue. Potato Head Beach Club is part of a large complex, including three restaurants and a hotel.
The indoor-outdoor club boasts an infinity pool and large, green cabanas that are the place to watch the sunset over the beach.
Boasting A-list performances by Snoop Dogg, John Legend, and Fatboy Slim, Potato Head is a pillar of Bali nightlife. DJs spin a mix of the latest pop, hip-hop, and electronic hits all night.
Potato Head is the gathering spot for the city’s glitzy and glam folk to see and be seen. From late nights to even later mornings, tourists and Balinese partiers flock to the dance floor in pursuit of a groovy journey.
