Want to hang out with the cool kids? Catch them partying at Que Sera.

The dive bar / nightclub started as a lesbian bar in 1975. The bar was a success with the LGBT+ community; however, it was sold to Ilse Benz in 1998 to become today’s Que Sera.

Que Sera can be found on Hellman Street, east of Long Beach. Lying in a black building covered in white doodles, you already know you’re in for a ride. With red lights, pool tables, neon signs, and full-length mirrors to add depth, this small bar / club is a real hidden gem.

Que Sera always has something new to offer; with strip shows, live music sessions, drag performances, and stand-up comedy, a memorable night is guaranteed.

Melissa Etheridge considers Que Sera a stepping stone in her career. She occasionally stops by, showing love for the place she played in for years.

The bar / club doesn’t play one genre of music; each day is dedicated to a new sound. Expect to hear anything from ‘80s hits to electronic and reggae. Que Sera prides itself on being an inclusive club; it attracts young partiers who dress to express.

With reasonable prices, diverse music and shows, and lights that put you in the mood to groove, what’s not to love about Que Sera?
