Inspired by Paolo Coelho’s novel of the same name, Nairobi’s The Alchemist got its share of love and popularity in the city’s nightlife.
On New Year’s eve of 2015, Nairobi welcomed a new year and the dawn of a new era in its nightlife with the opening of The Alchemist’s doors.
The open-air club is in Westlands, a residential and commercial neighborhood in Nairobi. The Alchemist is in an ample setting with minimalist decor, colorful benches, murals, and dangling green pots.
The Alchemist is a multi-layered nightlife experience with an outdoor cinema and several food trucks for after-party munchies.
The club hosts local talents like Maandy, DJ Dream, and Emma Cheruto. The arena’s placement in the fresh air makes jazz, hip-hop, and reggae music hit differently. The club attracts a young local crowd dressed to express.
The club’s music selection and outdoor setup will get you excited the way only a live concert can.
