Tongue and Groove, co-owned by Michael Krohngold, has been in operation since 1994. The club started as a sushi bar and cocktail lounge, ultimately evolving into a lavish entertainment venue.
The club is in the affluent commercial and residential district of Atlanta called Buckhead. Tongue and Groove secured an exceptional location in one of the wealthiest areas in Southeast USA. Mansions and high-rise buildings occupy the district, further demonstrating the life of luxury it abounds. The club is on private property and manipulates colorful lighting to create a distinctive interior with graffitied walls.
The Atlanta club plays Latin music all through the week but switches it up to pop on weekends to better cater to their general audience.
The large-scale club is frequented by Latin music devotees of all ages and backgrounds. Since the club has a strict ‘clean’ dress code, patrons are usually spotted donning the latest trends in the fashion world. Tongue and Groove’s dedication to exceptional service gained the loyalty of entertainment industry tycoons such as Janet Jackson, Mick Jagger, and Jamie Foxx.
