Truth & Alibi is a contemporary take on the secretive Prohibition-era lounge.
Twin brothers Chris and Mark Beardon opened Truth & Alibi, a speakeasy nightclub, and lounge, in 2014. Concealed behind the facade of ‘The Original Deep Ellum Candy Company,’ the vibrant exteriors are perfectly situated in the Deep Ellum neighborhood east of downtown Dallas, known for its lively nightlife, colorful street murals, and funky art galleries.
Truth & Alibi takes its speakeasy reputation very seriously, and partygoers require a password that changes weekly to enter. The password is available with table reservations or through social media. Inside the ‘candy store,’ prepare to be delighted by the waterfall crystal chandeliers and vintage-style furnishings.
Exclusively open three days a week, Truth & Alibi club predominantly plays hip-hop and house music. Its state-of-the-art audio system and underground aura intrigue everyone eager to experience an authentic Dallas nightclubbing session.
