White Horse Bar has been a refuge for the LGBT+ community since 1933, standing tall and proud in North Oakland. The sign of a white-rearing horse leads you to its doors. Inside, you’ll find red walls, pendant lights, and fading checkered floors giving a retro vibe.
The bar / club also has a carousel painted on one wall with white horses, a pool table, and pinball machines. The patio is intimate, with a canopy tent and string lights giving it a cozy feel.
White Horse Bar has an electrifying mood with DJs spinning pop beats. The bar / club’s perfect recipe for keeping the crowds in a world of euphoria is drag shows, live music, karaoke nights, and fun trivia.
