Viral sports drink Prime went beyond gyms as Aberdeen club Nox started selling it as a shot mixer. Called “Prime Bomb,” the drink mixes Prime with regular spirit, but customers can mix it with whatever liquor they want.

Nox has become the only Aberdeen nightlife institution to stock Prime after signing an exclusive deal with the brand’s owners. Patrons can pick between two Prime Bomb flavors: Ice Pop or Meta Moon.

The nightclub teased its new addition in an Instagram video, promoting the hyped-up Prime shot in the drink and VIP package format.

When it landed in the UK, Prime caused long queues, grappling shoppers, and a chaotic craze. Advertised as a sports hydration drink and promoted by YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul, Prime became an online sensation thanks to the low-supply, high-demand game.

With its limited availability, supermarkets like Aldi introduced the drink as a one-off special. While customers cleared the shelves and restocks sold out as fast as they arrived, some people sold Prime online for eye-watering prices. One woman reportedly paid £1,200 for 12 packs of Prime, when a pack of 12 sold for £24 in supermarkets.

Prime is a low-calorie sports drink containing coconut water, BCAAs (which help muscle growth), electrolytes, vitamins, and antioxidants.
