In an industry often saturated with alcohol, an innovative club night is set to reshape London’s nightlife scene. Spearheaded by UK DJ Mina, alcohol-free party ‘Club Soft’ will debut at East London’s Colour Factory on June 18th.
Breaking away from traditional norms, Club Soft caters to an often overlooked demographic – individuals who are passionate about electronic music but struggle with the prevailing late-night drinking culture.
Mina shared in a recent Tweet that her aim is to craft an alternative environment, shifting away from the standard alcohol-centric spaces that often define club music.
“I stopped drinking 6 years ago due to health concerns, and since then it’s been a dream of mine to create an alcohol-free party.”
From 4 PM to 10 PM, an eclectic mix of artists, including Mina, Fiyahdred, Ìyáàlù, Blu Edmunds, and a special B2B featuring D-LISH and Mahnoor will hype up the crowds.
While Club Soft is a standalone event, the overwhelmingly positive feedback reinforces Mina’s belief that “there really is a demand for alternative spaces,” as she told DMY.
