Construction for Toronto’s Metrolinx subway station claimed another nightlife business. Just two months after Regulars restobar announced it will close its doors to make way for the transit development, Toronto’s buzzing nightlife hub Love Child Social House revealed it will follow in its footsteps.

The downtown nightlife hotspot has been holding vibrant clubbing sessions since 2017.

With lush plants, neon-lit decor, and a hypnotizing lighting system, Love Child Social became a lusted-after partying destination where A-list celebs like Drake popped in.

After five years at 69 Bathurst Street, the social hub announced a schedule of weekly farewell parties. In an Instagram post, its management said it will be “honouring the history of Love Child and welcoming surprise guests” in the next two months.

The event series kicked off on October 1st with a day party with Tim Green at the audio decks. Love Child Social will say its final goodbye with an NYE-themed party on November 26th.

But not all is lost. During this time frame, the Toronto nightclub will go on a hunt to find another permanent home.
