Singapore’s clubbing scene got some fresh blood as quirky nightclub Drip made its debut this summer.

The nightlife venue found shelter in the south-central area of the city-state, just a stone’s throw away from the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.

Although it oozes an underground vibe, Drip embodies the go-to hub for a wide array of music genres. While electronic sounds are a primary focus, other alternative genres – including hip-hop beats – are also on the menu.

The Singapore nightclub first opened its doors on 8th July 2022 and has since created a consistent clubbing schedule. Open on Fridays and Saturdays, the Instagram-worthy venue kicks off the clubbing session at 9 PM and extends the party into the wee hours of the morning.

Highlights:

  • Singapore’s Drip nightclub features a swimming pool that doubles as a sitting area.
  • Drip is an Instagrammable clubbing experience, as its off-the-wall decor is more of a leitmotif than an uncommon sight.
  • The nightclub’s crowning jewel is a 600kg Albert Einstein statue.
  • Everything from raw, graffiti bathrooms to set-ups mimicking quirky train stations is included in Drip’s wacky decor.
  • Unlike most underground clubs, Drip requires a smart casual dress code.
  • Its blueprint embodies two levels, each featuring a different music genre – while the Main Room is all about EDM, the Salt Room is where revelers can bump and grind to a plethora of experimental and alternative genres.
