Australia’s Sunshine Coast will witness a nightlife renaissance as wellness company Stay Elite is set to launch a healthy pop-up nightclub. In association with a Bokarina health facility, Stay Elite will launch the region’s first health-conscious nightlife event this Saturday, October 15th.

Although it embodies the vibe of a traditional clubbing destination with foot-tapping tunes and light installations, the nightlife event adds a healthy twist to the recipe.

Instead of putting alcoholic beverages, gruesome hangovers, and all-nighters on a pedestal, the wellness nightclub will serve herbal shots, healthy elixirs, and wellness treatments. Smoke-filled dance floors will be replaced by saunas, steams, and magnesium float rooms.

As younger generations are jumping on the health bandwagon by ditching sunrise bedtimes and alcohol-fueled get-togethers, Stay Elite’s owner Troy Payne believes there would be a huge demand for detoxing nights out.

In an interview with Sunshine Coast News, the business owner described his healthy nightclub idea as a way to dance, party, and stay healthy.

“It is a night where you can have a dance and detox at the same time. Combine the fun of dance music, saunas, steams, ice baths and float therapy with a healthy environment and boom.”

If the pop-up healthy nightclub event is successful, Stay Elite plans to transform it into a regular Saturday night out.
