With her carefully curated Super Sharp Shooter photobook, artist and music theorist Sarah Ginn will take us on a beat-fueled visual journey. Featuring over 800 images that capture UK’s clubbing culture across more than two decades, the coffee-table book will be out in May 2023 through Velocity Press.

With 496 pages and photos that have never been seen before, Super Sharp Shooter brings together the worlds of dubstep, house, and techno through visual storytelling from UK’s iconic clubs and festivals.

Ginn – who was fabric’s in-house photographer for 11 years –  captures the backstage vibe at music temples like Printworks and festivals like Glastonbury but combines it with record covers and press shots.

The music heroes behind the audio decks aren’t out of the picture, as featured artists include the likes of Andy C, Ben UFO, Carl Cox, Goldie, and Miss Kittin.

In an official statement, Ginn described her nightlife photography as “my only memories.”

“Research shows that when you take photos it actually affects the way you remember things. So on that note, I hope you all enjoy my crazy spectral journey into sound, the many sights of the rave and everything in between.”

Full-color and printed on heavyweight 150 gsm paper, the Super Sharp Shooter photobook will be out next year, but you can pre-order it here
